PGES work both domestically and internationally on environmental projects. Mainly with the industrial refrigeration and fire fighting sectors, and in co-operation with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and also the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP).
We use our experience in these areas and our training which we have gained through our international partners to carry out these projects in accordance with international standards.
Our team is both multi-cultural and multi-lingual, giving us an advantage and allowing us to work in regions all over the world.
Our previous experience ranges from:
CFC phase-out and destruction, where we undertook a nationwide survey to determine the amount of unwanted CFC that would then be documented and verified for Carbon Credits under Climate Action Reserve (CAR) and then sent across borders for environmentally friendly destruction (PLASCON DRE 99.9999%).
Project management of retro fitting of HCFC XPS lines to environmentally friendly alternatives (CO2 and/or hydrocarbon)
Working with governments to prepare for HPMP’s
Consultation work on retro fitting of CFC/HCFC chillers
Nationwide surveys on current usage and dependency of Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) and Global Warming Agents (GWA/GWP/GHG)
We are always looking at taking on new and challenging projects where ever they are in the world, and also in fields that we have not gone into yet.
We try to work with as many different countries, governments and agencies as possible to help us build up our international network, which we feel is essential when taking on international and domestic projects.
