Reclaim

EIS is currently the only firefighting and refrigerant reclaim center within Saudi Arabia. EIS offers reclaim of firefighting products such as Halons 1211/1301 and other firefighting products such as Fm-200. These products can be reclaimed back to the highest specification, such as ASTM type 2 for Halon 1301.

Refrigerant Trade

EIS currently sells refrigerant products under the brand name ‘Pancool’. The EIS brand was designed to ensure that the market place could be offered high quality refrigerants that meet AHRI-700 at a competitive rate.

FIREFIGHTING

EIS was established in 2011 to deal with the large quantities or Halons in active and decommissioned systems within the Middle East. The main facility in Dammam, KSA was built specifically to deal with this task. Until this day EIS is the only company in the Middle East capable of recycling Halons to the current required specifications, both for civil use and military use. Which include ASTM and MIL Spec standards.

LABORATORY

EIS currently has the only laboratory inside Saudi Arabia that can test both refrigerants to AHRI-700 and Halons to ASTM standards. The laboratory can currently test all halogenated carbons to the specific related standard per the product specifications, whether that be for commercial refrigeration use of military firefighting applications. EIS currently has the only GCMS within Saudi Arabia that is calibrated to run both refrigerants and firefighting gases.

We provide comprehensive engineering know-how, technical support, inspections, planned maintenance and repair services in compliance with NFPA codes.

FACTS ABOUT HALON

The regulations today say that HALON should not be released into the atmosphere. HALON is no longer manufactured in many countries. It is important to Reclaim and Recycle for critical need where there is no replacement agent available or where no replacement can be used because of the volume and weight import.

Where systems are old and where the HALON has remained in the systems for five or more years, it is financially viable to Recycle your HALON for system inspection. By recycling and reclaiming your HALON, the moisture present, the corrosive particles that would have occurred due to the aging of the systems, and the other foreign particles are removed.

By reclamation, the fire suppression ability is increased and it is in equal standards of newly manufactured HALON. It is a financially sound investment to Recycle your HALON because this HALON can be restored to its newly manufactured condition after your cylinders are inspected, cleaned and system integrity restored.

And, prior to refilling of the Recycled HALON, your system and cylinders are inspected, examined and hydro tested to ensure a long term performance.

HOW DOES HALON GET CONTAMINATED?

In most cases Halons are usually contaminated with moisture, however they can also be contaminated with oils, and particulate material. Which usually happens when system cylinders are not maintained correctly.

REASONS TO HAVE YOUR HALON RECOVERED, RECYCLED AND RECLAIMED

Over time halon can become contaminated with moisture, residue, or particulate matter. Which can result in the Halon being less affective in suppression of fires. Therefore, recovery and reclaim allows us the opportunity to ensure that the Halon is meeting the appropriate requirements for fire suppression. It also allows us to inspect and hydrotest the system cylinder/storage vessel that the Halon is in.
